The C-403-I 4-Camera Outdoor Budget Color Infrared Armor Dome Security Camera PC-Based System is a great choice. The included DVR card installs into your Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 (32-bit) PC to allow you to view and record from your cameras onto your PC's hard drive. System includes motion detection and continuous recording capabilities.
The Security Eyes Entry-Level DVR Software allows you to view your cameras over the internet using a PC, Laptop, or even Windows Mobile PDA Phone allowing you to watch your cameras from anywhere over the internet, remote viewing requires a static IP address DSL or Cable internet connection.
The included E-808 Budget Style infrared armor dome cameras provide good quality color video and can be mounted outside of your home or business. These cameras have a 3-axis bracket for easy mounting on the wall or ceiling. Newly improved video processing offers a clearer, crisper picture and increased infrared night vision up to 25 feet in no-light conditions. Package includes 4 x Coaxial CCTV Power/Video Cables (select length above) that will carry the power to the location of the camera from the included power adapters, so that you only have to run a single cable out to each camera.

I installed this system in my home almost 2 years ago, and have been very pleased with its operation. In retrospect, I would have probably spent a little bit more for the CD-403-ES system with the better resolution cameras, but this system was very nice for a good starter system. I just upgraded 2 of the cameras to ES-804-CCD cameras that were in the CD-403-ES package, and that is why I would have gotten those to begin with, their night vision capabilities were much better. So if you are looking for a very budget minded system for your home or business, then this is a great system, but if you like more quality, check on the CD-403-ES package, because I was even more impressed.
