While it is our most budget-minded PC-Based DVR system, the Security Eyes software still offers internet remote viewing from your PC, laptop or Windows Mobile PDA phone, to allow you to stay connected with your cameras at all times. This DVR Card and software installs into your PC and can allow you to connect to your cameras over the internet (static IP address dsl or cable internet required). There are two main methods of remote connection to your Security Eyes PC based DVR System, from a PC or Laptop using the 'Security Remote' remote client software, or from your PocketPC2002, 2003, WM5 or WM6 Windows mobile touch-screen PDA phone. Security Eyes PC Remote Client Software
The Security Remote PC client software is great to remotely view your cameras over the internet from a PC or Laptop. This software allows for you to view your live cameras, as well as play back video from your server remotely. This software is designed to work with servers that are set up on an internet connection that has a static IP address dsl or cable internet connection. In the Security Remote client software, you can view multiple cameras on the screen at once in full resolution. This software can also be used for multi-site remote surveillance by allowing you to connect to multiple servers running Security Eyes Server software and DVR Cards at the same time, and view cameras from each server simultaneously on the screen. Even though the Security Eyes DVR Card was designed with budget in mind, it can still deliver on the features for remote viewing.
You can install the Security Remote Software on as many remote PCs or Laptops as you choose and use it to connect to your cameras over the network or over the internet from anywhere in the world. This allows multiple people to watch your cameras simultaneously, allowing you to all keep a watchful eye on your home or business easily. Security Eyes Pro Windows Mobile PDA Client Software
The Security Eyes DVR Software also provides support for Pocket PC 2002, 2003 and Windows Mobile 5 and Windows Mobile 6 PDA phones. For Security Eyes users with Windows Mobile touch-screen PDA phones, you can install the included PDA client software that comes on your Security Eyes software CD right onto your PDA phone. This basic client software will allow you to connect into your Security Eyes DVR PC and view up to 1 camera at a time. This provides you with the ability to see live what is happening at your home or business while you are away from home over your 3G/4G/Edge network on your Windows PDA phone. Use your mouse to navigate the screen of the PDA Demo to the left. This demo will allow you to try out the Windows Mobile software in a demo environment.
