Motion Detection Recording

Motion detection style recording is featured in each of our security camera systems.  This allows your system to only record when something is happening on the screen. This means that your system saves a great amount of space, but also you save time playing back, because during playback it will skip from one motion event to the next.

Alarm and Motion Alerts

Integrate your home surveillance cameras with your alarm system or other sensors and systems to turn it into a smart home. Powered by our Platinum CCTV™ Standalone DVR or Alnet® PC-Based DVR software, you can get alerts when doors are opened, pipes freeze, sump pumps overflow, people are walking in your home or more. Your camera system can then alert you via email or text message, so that you are always aware of what is happening. Most of our systems will allow the integration of NO/NC circuits and outputs to allow this level of integration.

Night-Vision Recording

Since most bad things happen at night, each of our outdoor and many of our indoor home cameras have what is called Infrared night vision.  With these cameras, you can see in the dark because the cameras illuminate the area with an invisible infrared light, using the IR LEDs that are built into the camera. The camera can see this invisible light, and can see almost as bright as day, even when it is completely dark. Using these cameras, you have the advantage if someone decides to mess with your home or family. You will be able to see them coming, before they even know. Infrared night vision will appear black and white as shown above, but during the daytime, these same cameras will appear in color, switching back and forth between color and b/w at the optimum light levels.

With traditional cameras, it is recommended that you position them to cover the pinch-points in the entryway and exits, and use narrower focus. This provides the best image with these traditional cameras. With our newer High Definition MegaPixel IP cameras, you can cover wider areas but still deliver the recognition that you seek, because these cameras record at 7-25 times the resolution of traditional cameras. Automatic Recycling Storage

One of the biggest downfalls of some security camera systems, is human interaction. That is why VCR based systems failed even before they were introduced.  These systems involved requiring a human to change the tape every so often, in order for the system to continue recording. With our digital recording systems (both standalone DVR and PC based DVRs and NVRs), no human interaction is required.  Just let the system run and record, the storage will automatically start overwriting the oldest video once it fills up.
