Please email your IP Address - External IP address to support@platinum-cctv.com we will run a port scan to see if your port forwarding is open.

Migare, The IP address that you just sent us, has port 7000 open, but port 80 is blocked. This means that you can connect in using the client software, but you will NOT be able to connect in to the web page. Port 80 not being open is generally the result of your Internet Service Provider blocking access over port 80. This prevents you from hosting a web page over your home internet connection.
Thank youPlatinum Supporthttp://Platinum-CCTV.com
I talked to my ISP and they say they are not blocking port 80. When I acces the security eyes server software I get a message: Port 80 is already in use make sure there is no other applications or instances of httpsvr running that already bound to that port.
When I run the security eyes client software in the remote pc I get a message:
Runtime error!Program c:\securityremote.exe
This application has requested the runtime to terminate it, in an unusual way, please contact the applications support team for more information.
If I click ok in the message closes the program, but if I connect camera 1 I get video from the server, but if I try to do anything else the program freezes and I have to clik th ok in the ,message square in order to terminate the program. I did a full reset in the server dsl 2 wire 2700h gateway modem with same results. I am going to e-mail you my new Ip address.
Please help.Miagare
Miagare,
1st - The problem with port 80 means that some software on your PC, such as a web server or similar software is already using port 80, which prevents the security eyes software from attaching to port 80, which would also explain why you cannot connect over the web browser.
However, with the 3.011 version, the web viewing, which was problematic and limited at times, has been replaced by a download of the remote client software, so the port 80 is not really required any longer, as you can simply use the remote client software, which can be installed directly on the remote PC in order to connect.
We have NO information on the PC that you are using for the remote client PC. Please let us know what the CPU, RAM, Video Card, Operating System, etc. so that we can have a little more information on why the software is giving an error. Please include the Service Pack level, and what version of DotNet and DirectX are presently installed on the remote PC. Please also let us know what remote client software you are installing (is it the version from your CD, or the Version from the download?)
