We have tested many motherboards with the different systems and found that the motherboards with the nvidia chip set instead of the Intel chipset  is a 50 /50 chance it will work but we stock that paticular board and every PCI slot is tied to the PCI express slot ,for kick we tryed that board mentioned and it would not run the security eyes card because of the shared PCI bus to the video card ,its a good board but does have problems with the chipset that the board has with using as a surveillance server. We have found that the motherboards with Intel chip set work the best and some of the older motherboards but the new boards we have to be very careful on what we use,like you previously stated newer is not better.
