Komflex,
Thank you for your inquiry. We will need a little further information to assist you further:Error Message:At what point does the program give you the error? Is there any additional information in the error?System Information:1. What recording drive is configured in the software?2. How much available space do you have on that Hard Drive?3. If different, how much space is available on your C: Drive.4. What changed on the PC between the time the system was operating properly and now? - Hard drives added to the system? Programs installed? Was the PC being used for other things in the meantime? It sounds from your description, like the system is having a hard time writing to your hard drive. This can occur if your computer configuration has changed (Added or removed hard drives), or if the hard drive for recording, or for the database (depending on the version of the security eyes software) is full.Thank youPlatinum CCTV SupportHttp://Platinum-CCTV.com
It gives me the error as soon as it tries to record, SecurityServer.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. we are sorry for the inconvenience.
1. I've always recorded to my C drive, I have an external hard drive that has always been drive F,
2. I have well over 60 empty gigs on my C drive. Security eyes creates folders in the destination but it gives me that error before it records.
3. same
4. To my knowledge nothing has changed at all.
I'm not quite sure how to figure out what version of security eyes i have to give you that info
Thanx for the quick reply
Thank you for your response. The external hard drive located at F, could be the cause of the problem...but we need a little further clarification:
Can you enter the software successfully if you do not record? - (ie, open the software by logging in, but do not activate the "monitor")
If so, can you enter the "System Settings" and check the "Record Path" (Center of the 1st screen of settings).See if it shows both the C and F drives, and see which drive is checked.Thank youPlatinum CCTV Supporthttp://Platinum-CCTV.com
