Security Camera Showroom Come Visit our Security Camera showroom in Naperville, IL
RobinsonMills,
We would be glad to assist you, but we will need a little bit more information from you on the system that you are working with.
1. What is the CPU type and Speed of the PC that the DVR Cards are installed into?2. What is the Version of the Security Eyes Software that you have installed?3. Did you initially have an 4 camera system set up, and then installed a second card?

Response from RobinsonMills -
I have a Pentium (R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz 3.00GHz, 448 MB of RAM, Security Eyes Software Version 3.0, and I initially had a one card setup and then added another card.
RobinsonMills, If you initially had a 4-camera system, and you upgraded to an 8-camera system, it would be recommended to delete the old archive location as well as the old MDB database location on our archive drive, and then allow Security Eyes to re-create this location with the 8-cameras. It sounds like what is happening, is that the archive is full with video from the 4-cameras, and it is not allowing additional space that is necessary to create files for the new cameras.

In order to clear the Old Archives, you will have to determine what folder you are recording to in security eyes software
Usually the folder is called SecurityREC on the Drive that has been selected in Security Eyes
Then there should be a SecurityMDB folder in the same drive.
Close Security Eyes Pro, then delete both of these folders in windows. Then restart the software. (Note: Old recorded video will be lost).
