Thank you for your support. I have moved and now am using a service that is microwave for my internet. Fairly new providers so I am sure you are correct on the microtik site. I will try from my office and probably will work.
As far as the iphone, it is an old 5 digit license number. Maybe time to upgrade. Reccomend just license or new DVR also?

Perhaps you misunderstood. We get the same page from here...that means that the router is inline with your internet connection. The fact that you have a microwave type internet connection, make it very possible that your ISP is sharing a single IP address across multiple of their subscribers and that the Mikrotik Router is actually their main router. I would consult with them to see if they have an option that will provide you with a 'Routable IP Address' which would allow you to host services like the Alnet DVR. WIthout a routable IP address, you will not be able to connect remotely.
For the DVR Card, the card will still work fine, as the card construction has not changed, only the software license has changed. So you just need to exchange your old 5-digit dongle and purchase a new 8-Digit dongle and license for the new software.

Yes, I will discuss with my IP provider. My "Logmein" and even my "Wilife" cameras work remotely. This is why I misunderstood you. My Alnet server is not getting out.

Do I need to go back to Alnet to purchase the upgrade and 8 digit dongle?
You never really said if the IP address matched the IP address from a Ping...This is of key importance in determining where the problem lies.

After using whatismyip.com, I tried from my iphone using the 3g network and it came up with the microtik page. When I use the alnet client on another computer tied to the same wireless network (my wifi) as the computer with my alnet server running and use the default gateway ip of course it works fine.
