I have 2 D-700 4-Channel 120fps DVR Cards . My cameras only run at 4-7 fps. What wrong?
Ray,
Thank you for your post. Please let us know a little more about your PC, such as the CPU, RAM, Operating System, Video Card, as well as other programs that are running on the PC.
For the Alnet Software, what Resolution are the cameras set to in Camera Settings --> RES tab?
When you are saying they run at only 4-7 fps is this during playback or live view?
Thank you Platinum Support
Microsoft windows XP Professional Version 2002, Service Pack 3. Intel Pentium 4, 2.40GHz, 2 GB RAM. Maxtor 6Y080L0 80Gig Hard drive. Intel 82865G graphics controller. Only other programs are Norton security and internet explorer. I am only using this computer as the server for the CCTV system.
Camera Resolution: Deinterlaced 720x480. The 4-7 fps is during live view. Playback does not indicate speed. Thanks for your help.
There are a few factors that are working against you:
1. The D-700 Alnet DVR Cards are designed to allocate PC resources first to recording, and second to displaying. Therefore the recording will offer better framerate than the display. Any system resources that remain after recording will then be allocated to displaying video. The DVR Cards are rated at the lowest resolution for framerate, which is standard for most DVR Cards.
2. Your PC is WELL BELOW minimum recommended PC specs. (see recommended specifications below)
