The CD-405-CD 4-Camera Indoor Hi-Res Sony® CCD Image Sensor Varifocal 3-axis color Dome Security Camera Alnet PC-Based System is a great choice. The included DVR card installs into your Windows Vista or Windows 7 PC to allow you to view and record from your cameras onto your PC's hard drive. System includes motion detection and continuous recording capabilities in high resolution (720x480 per camera).
The Alnet DVR Software allows you to view your cameras over the internet using a PC, Laptop, iPhone, iPod Touch (iTouch), Blackberry, Google Android phone, Windows Mobile PDA Phone or Windows Mobile Smartphone, allowing you to watch your cameras from anywhere over the internet, even with a Dynamic IP address.
The included 4 x CD-4261 Hi-Res Color 420 TVL Sony® CCD Indoor Varifocal Dome cameras provide great quality color video and are light-weight enough to mount on a standard ceiling or drop-ceiling tile. The built-in varifocal adjustable lens allows you to adjust between 4mm for a wide field of view, and 9mm for a zoomed in view. This allows you to really zoom in or out the camera to adjust the field of view and then focus to deliver the best possible picture for any installations. Package includes 4 x Coaxial CCTV Power/Video Cables (select length above) that will carry the power to the location of the camera from the included power adapters, so that you only have to run a single cable out to each camera.

I didn't know much about CCTV
Comments:
I didn't konw much about cctv systems, but this system was very easy to install. I ordered it with the 100' cables, and it was easy to plug everything in. I used my DELL PC, and the surveillance system was up and running for half the cost of other estimates i received. now my building is well protected too.

Excellent system for my Store

This Alnet Camera System was a GREAT addition to my store. We were having problems with employee and customer theft that was greatly decreasing my profits, but once I installed the system, most of the theft stopped. Then I got an added bonus of catching an employee stealing time...lying on their timecard, and was able to fire them and avoid paying unneccessary unemployment.
The Shipping was fast, and the support was great (I got the Remote software installation, and they had it configured in no time at all). My employees now know that I can watch the store, and it has helped keep the honest people honest
